Why Buyers Choose Us for Micro Parts

Micro machining is unforgiving. Tool deflection, thermal drift, and chip evacuation become dominant failure modes once features drop below 1mm. Most general CNC shops avoid the work — we built our floor around it.

01

5-Axis Simultaneous

Our 5-axis machines handle complex micro geometries in a single setup, eliminating re-fixturing errors that compound on parts under 10mm. Critical for medical implants, optical mounts, and watch components.

02

Tight Tolerance Capable

Linear ±0.005mm, bore class H6, IT5 grade, GD&T including flatness 0.005mm and runout 0.01mm. We hold these specs in production, not just on FAI parts. Verified on Mitutoyo CMM.

03

Material Range

From soft brass to titanium Grade 5, hardened tool steel D2/H13, and engineering plastics PEEK/POM/PTFE. Each material has its own tooling library tuned for micro features.

Process

From Drawing to Delivery

A standardized four-step path keeps lead time predictable and quality auditable.

STEP 01
Drawing Review
Engineer reviews STEP/PDF/DWG within 4 hours. DFM feedback if features risk fail.
STEP 02
Quote
Quote returns within 24 business hours with material lead time and pricing breakdown.
STEP 03
Production
Run prototypes first. FAI report on request. Material certs included.
STEP 04
QC & Ship
CMM verification, surface inspection, EXW from factory or DDP on request.

Industries Served

Where Our Micro Parts Ship

Most of our micro machining work supports four industries where part size, tolerance, and traceability are non-negotiable. Each carries its own documentation requirements, which we handle as standard.

Medical Devices

Surgical instrument tips, endoscopic components, dental abutments, orthopedic micro-screws. Material certs and FAI included. SS 316L and Ti Grade 5 dominate.

Semiconductor

Chamber components, wafer handling pins, RF housings. Cleanroom-compatible packaging available. Aluminum 7075 and titanium are most common.

Optics & Photonics

Lens mounts, fiber alignment housings, laser cavity components. Tight concentricity and runout — our 5-axis setup keeps these in spec.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the smallest part you can machine?
We routinely machine features down to 0.3mm and overall part envelopes from 1mm. Hole drilling starts at ⌀0.2mm, wall thickness from 0.15mm depending on material. Send the drawing and we confirm feasibility before quoting.
What tolerance can you hold on micro parts?
Best linear tolerance ±0.005mm, typical ±0.01mm. Bore class H6, shaft class h5, IT5 grade. Surface finish Ra 0.8μm best, 1.6μm typical. Tighter specs available on request after DFM review.
Which materials do you machine for micro parts?
Stainless 304/316, titanium Grade 2/5, brass, copper, aluminum 6061/7075, tool steel D2/H13/SKD11, and engineering plastics PEEK/POM/PTFE. Mill certs included on request.
Do you accept low-volume prototype orders?
Yes. Prototype runs from 1–10 pieces are standard. Small batches 10–500 and medium 500–5,000 also supported. No minimum order quantity for prototypes.
How long does a quote take?
Within 24 business hours after receiving your drawing (STEP, PDF, or DWG). Complex parts requiring DFM feedback may take up to 48 hours.
